Millom Drama Club put on Terry Pratchett's Wyrd Sisters adapted by Stephen Briggs - it was a big success. Many of those on stage were first time performers - we look forward to their next production.

The Millom Cinema Club is well underway having shown several films so far. The Bar opens at 19:00 (7.00pm) for refreshments and discussions about future films to be shown - the club decides on which films will be shown -  film at 19:30.

Recent films were The Hobbit Trilogy ,'RUSH', "The Imitation Game" with Dominic Cumberbatch and is the story of Alan Turing the founder of the modern Computer and the Enigma Machine, "Arsenic and Old Lace""The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel" and "The Theory of Everything"

The next will be Friday October 9th at 7.30pm      Bar open from 7pm

Septembers film will be decided this evening Friday 11th

October will have two film nights including a Halloween special on the 31st
Films are usually the second Friday of the month.

Membership is by Season which will be four months and will cost £10 per season or £25 for the year - no additional costs, except Popcorn and other refreshments, so you can watch as many or as few of the films as you would like. 

We will show a minimum of 1 film per month - though if we get enough support this may go upto 2,3 or even 4 per month.

Heritage Open Days - September 12th & 13th - We are open 12noon-4pm we are going back 300 years to celebrate Pirates
We also have photos libs scores costumes and programmes from over a hundred years of shows and events  - also tours of the theatre available.

MAOS started rehearsals for their next production provisionally in September with Advanced Tickets on sale from late October - 10% discount for groups of 10 or more at a single performance

The Show dates are Tuesday 17th-Friday 21st November 2015 at 7.30pm
with the Saturday 22nd being a matinee at 2.30pm.
The rehearsal dates are now available contact Diane for details - you should have a copy.
We had a great review from NODA for our last Pantomime - lets do it again. 
Please make arrangements to keep the dates free for our next production if you would like to take part in the show or be our of our handy helpers - new budding thespians and volunteers always welcome.

Our 2015 Pantomime is Alice in Pantoland, with Auditions took place in July.  Rehearsals are usually Wednesday evening 6.30pm-9pm with some additional rehearsals on Sundays - these started in September but new members can still join in September. Most of the roles have now been cast but you an still join us until sometime in September - just contact us for details

Anyone who cannot make these dates and would like to take part please contact Diane Vernon or Lucy Thompson as we aim to be as flexible as possible as this production has a lot of small to medium roles for Junior and Adults alike - so first timers welcome.

Please get in touch to register your interest. Come along bring your friends. This is going to be FUN.

Open Mic Nights

Open Mic Nights are being held in the Theatre Bar from 7.30pm usually the last friday of the month 
The Palladium Theatre Bar Open Mic nights are an opportunity to get together in an informal, friendly and

relaxed atmophere. Don't be shy, come along and join us, everyone will get a slot on the mic. 
Next one is Friday 30th October at 7.30pm.

All Welcome - the bar is open - we usually have a hand pulled guest beer from Hard Knott Brewery.

Acoustic Music Singers Songwriters Poets Comedians Pros Semi-Pros Amateur and First Timers come along and have a go.

Or just come along for a beer and enjoy the music
